These are lengths of guitar strings soldered within a 3.5mm jack plug soldered underneath and can be used for making touch connections. When two (or more) plug-ins come into contact with each other they form a connection. You can hold them together. You can squeeze them, increasing conductivity. You can jangle them around so they make temporary rattling connections. Fettle and tousle your way through wibbly wobbly stutter.
They are tested to work with custom paper circuit (ciat-lonbarde) builds such as Lil Sidrassi and Rollz-5 (check out the videos section for some demos). In principle, they should work with a multitude of Eurorack modules or other patchable synths with 3.5mm jacks.
Any audio/CV connection should be perfectly safe but don't plug in anywhere else, safety first!
