Nobsrine B-stock

from Tripping on Wires

A couple of Nobsrine's with minor imperfections at a reduced price.

Making the most of some left over PCBs/Panels from workshops, I had a less-than-perfect box left over from the original run of Nobsrines. Nothing major but some saw marks and teeny gaps in some of the joins. I also had some spare wood from the Spikering/Chainlock batches and so knocked up another box but managed to misalign one of the cuts making for a slightly uneven panel seating.

None of these make any difference to how the Nobsrine plays or sounds so it'd be a shame to see the materials go to waste.

Photos show the imperfections, if you want to see some better product shots, check out the original Nobsrine listing - trippingonwires.bandcamp.com/merch/nobsrine-full-diy-ciat-lonbarde-build

This is a simple but weird sounding instrument controlled with 2 simple knobs and 2 portmanteau switches. It samples the turns and energy of knob twists to modulate triangle oscillators and you can get a shifting range of unusual moans, drones, and shrieks. It's on a 3.5mm stereo output so you can mix/isolate/pan the oscillators for stereo effects or processing.

These units do not include the experimental patch points on the original run.

These built on PCB (not paper) and housed in a handmade birch plywood box with a custom front panel. I've oiled the wood too for protection and to bring out the grain.

It runs off of a 9-volt battery (not supplied due to postage restrictions).

Shipping includes insurance and tracking. I know it's high but it's not inflated, it's actual cost.

Credit where it's due of course, this is an unofficial Peter Blasser/Ciat-Lonbarde build. I made one for myself and the minimum orders of PCBs/panels are 5 and so I've made a small batch. The original paper circuit (and lots of other cool stuff) can be found here - www.ciat-lonbarde.net/paper/

Includes unlimited streaming of Nobsrine Demo via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
