  • Ciat-Lonbarde Esoterica Spikering PCB

Ciat-Lonbarde's Esoterica is a pair of circuits (along with Chainlock) described as "for Phase Lock Loop Resynthesizing of Monophony (with a tambourine component)". The original papers are available here - www.ciat-lonbarde.net/TIMARACURRICULUM/TIMARATERIALS/cirques/index.html

Spikering is simply explained as "that which spikes out transients" but I've also seen it referred to as a resonant filter and pulse generator. Either way, it pairs nicely with some Rollz-5 to generate pulse triggers. Reportedly, other external modules, e.g. Eurorack stuff can trigger nicely too.

Spikering and Chainlock also play quite nicely together pinging pulses off of each other (though some Rollz is still recommended).

Notes on how these PCBs were converted from paper, BOM, and build info is all available here - gitlab.com/tripping-on-wires/ciat-lonbarde-pcbs
